- The original Surfer announcement on the Amige Technologies Home Page indicated
- that the US price for the A1200 Surfer would be $720. Not bad (but not GREAT!)

- PS. Oracles $500 Internet Computer is still being finished, and it has been
- said that despite their making issue of the "$500" mark, their computer
- will sell for over $500. How much more wasn't said. The A1200 Surfer
- is in a beautiful place to get some market share. Need Fast RAM with
- the machine as standard! Put 'at least' 1MB of Fast RAM on the computers
- as standard. Especially if there are SIMM sockets. This will help the
- system sell better with a double in performance and more flexibility with
- more memory.
